Crazy thing…

I was walking back from a NINjas (Media Informatics student organization) meeting when this nice looking well dressed lady walking briskly in heals stopped me to ask if i knew where the BEP building is. I, being awful at explaining directions and not having anything else to do, offered to walk her there. She agreed to let me walk her half way there then simply point to where she needs to be.

On our way she asked what I studied. She told me she was working on some guide system for search engines or something, but I didn’t fully understand that. But anyway, she said that she works with a lot of ad agencies and stuff. After I stopped and told her the rest of the way she kindly thanked me, handed me her card, and told me that she might be able to get me “plugged in”.

Turns out she’s Meredith Holthaus, president of Holthaus Enterprises. Seems legit.

Hm… I guess that’s what I get for doing nice things?
